How to get to Mr.Petter

By MRT (Green Line)

Get off at Wenxin Chongde Station or Wenxin Zhongqing Station. Both are a 13 to 14-minute walk.

1. Take the Taichung MRT Green Line and get off at Wenxin Chongde Station.
2. After exiting, head to Shenyang Rd. Sec. 2 and walk straight along it for about 450 m.
3. Turn right onto Anshun E. 2nd St. and walk about 170 m. Mr.Petter is on your left.

You can also get off at Wenxin Zhongqing Station: walk north on Zhongqing Rd., turn left onto Ln. 880, Zhongqing Rd. Sec. 1, continue onto Mayuan E. St., turn right onto Shenyang Rd. Sec. 1 and walk straight about 420 m, then turn left onto Anshun E. 2nd St. and walk about 170 m. About 14 minutes in total.

From THSR Taichung Station

The MRT Green Line runs direct with no transfer. About 52 minutes to Mr.Petter.

1. After leaving the high-speed rail station, follow the signs to the MRT Green Line (its station here is also called HSR Taichung).
2. Take the Green Line toward Beitun Main Station. Wenxin Chongde Station is about 18 minutes away, with trains about every 9 minutes.
3. From the station, walk about 13 minutes to Mr.Petter (same route as "By MRT" above).

With a lot of luggage, a taxi is easier: about 20 to 30 minutes, 16 km.

From Taichung Railway Station

Taichung Railway Station is not on the MRT Green Line. Take bus 82 or 86 (about 30 to 40 minutes) and get off at Wenxin Meichuan W. Rd. Intersection.

1. At Taichung Railway Station, take bus 82 or 86 (routes 82延 (82 Extended) and 58 also stop nearby).
2. Get off at the Wenxin Meichuan W. Rd. Intersection stop (文心梅川西路口).
3. Walk along Meichuan W. Rd. Sec. 4, turn left onto Liaoyang 1st St. for about 130 m, then turn right onto Anshun E. 2nd St. for about 230 m. Mr.Petter is on your left, about 6 minutes on foot.

By taxi: about 16 minutes, 6.3 km.

By car

About 15 minutes from the Daya Interchange on National Freeway 1. The hotel has no parking lot of its own, and 5 parking lots are within a 10-minute walk.

1. Exit National Freeway 1 at the Daya Interchange toward downtown Taichung, then turn left onto Huanzhong Rd. Sec. 1 (about 1.3 km).
2. Turn right onto Rongde Rd. and go straight for about 2.3 km.
3. Turn right onto Shanxi Rd. Sec. 2 and go straight for about 700 m.
4. Keep right onto Dalian Rd. Sec. 1, then turn right onto Anshun E. 2nd St. Mr.Petter is on your right.

From Taichung International Airport

About 30 minutes and 14 km by car or taxi.

1. By taxi or car, enter this address in your GPS: 台中市北屯區安順東二街 47 號 (No. 47, Anshun E. 2nd St., Beitun Dist.).

From Taoyuan International Airport

Take the Airport MRT to the HSR, ride to HSR Taichung, then the Green Line. About 2 hours in total, depending on connections.

1. At Terminal 1 or 2, take a Taoyuan Airport MRT Commuter train to "A18 HSR Taoyuan Station" (Express trains do not stop here).
2. At HSR Taoyuan Station, take a southbound high-speed train to "Taichung".
3. Then follow "From HSR Taichung" above: Green Line to Wenxin Chongde, then about a 13-minute walk.

With lots of luggage or a group, a taxi or private car takes about 2 hours.
