Welcome to our hotel! To ensure you have the best accommodation experience, please read the following check-in regulations and important notices carefully, including check-in times, checkout procedures, facility usage instructions, and related service information.
Mr. Petter Booking Terms & Conditions
General Terms ("General Terms and Conditions")
These General Terms and Conditions, along with any other applicable specific terms and conditions related to "Promotional Offers," together with any amendments that may be made from time to time, shall constitute a legally binding agreement between The Mantter Company (hereinafter referred to as "TMC") and you.
Booking terms
We may pre-authorize your credit card before your arrival. This does not mean that we have charged you, but rather that we are making a temporary credit card deposit. The actual payment will still be made in cash or by bank transfer on the spot.

Room rates are quoted in New Taiwan Dollars. The quoted rate is based on your inquiry date and stay date. If either of these dates changes, the rate may be adjusted accordingly.
Extra bed service is available, but you must indicate your need in the booking notes. The fee is NT$800 per guest and cannot be provided on short notice. If no extra bed is needed, an additional fee of NT$500 per adult will be charged.
The room rate includes local taxes and service charges at the time of accommodation. No additional charges will be incurred for any services purchased separately.
If you decide to stay in a higher-class room than originally selected, the room rate will be adjusted. All services not included in the package will be charged separately.
If a guest extends their stay, they will be charged a fee calculated based on the current room rate or any other special packages offered by TMC.
If your booking dates fall on a major holiday, a long weekend, or if you book more than 3 rooms at once, we may charge you in advance.
The maximum occupancy for a double room is 2 adults and 1 child (under 120cm tall), and the maximum occupancy for a quad room is 4 adults and 2 children (under 120cm tall). Children can share the existing beds in the room free of charge with paid adults. Extra beds are not available.
A valid credit card is required to secure your booking. A fee will be charged upon check-in, displayed on the booking confirmation webpage and in your email. TMC accepts NTD cash, Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and UnionPay.
Room rates are quoted in New Taiwan Dollars at the time of booking, but are subject to currency fluctuations. Accommodation bills will be calculated based on the current exchange rate published by the Bank of Taiwan at the time of your check-in.
If a guest books a room at an incorrect published price, TMC reserves the right to correct the price or cancel the booking at its own discretion and will contact you directly to correct the price or cancel the booking.
The transfer is permitted, but prior notification must be given in writing, and both the transferor and the transferee must be willing to assume all relevant obligations.
This offer is only valid for bookings of 7 rooms or less and is not applicable to group bookings. For group bookings of 8 rooms or more, please send an email to [email address missing]. Contact Mr. Petter at hello@mrpetter.com
If you do not book your room directly with Mr. Pedder, but instead book through other booking platforms (such as Agoda, Booking.com, Expedia, Trip.com, etc.), the booking rules (such as promotional offers, cancellation policies, payment methods, taxes, invoices, after-sales service, etc.) shall be subject to the information published by that booking platform.
If you book a room directly with Mr. Pedder, but wish to cancel the booking due to factors other than TMC, the relevant cancellation fees and rules shall be based on the hotel's standard contract.
Mr. Peder accepts guide dogs or service pets licensed by the local government. Please refer to the official website for the latest announcements regarding pet-friendly policies.
If you require an extended stay or longer stay, or if you have already placed a booking on the official website or booking platform, please inform the front desk staff in order to provide you with the best accommodation quality and to avoid disturbing your rest.
Check-in and check-out
Mr. Pedder's front desk service hours are 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM. If you plan to arrive outside of these hours, please be sure to contact us and check your mobile phone and SMS messages. We will contact you and assist you with self-check-in.
Guests should settle all room charges upon check-in.
You must be at least 18 years old to register for a room; otherwise, you must obtain a consent form for minors and affix your seal or signature (minor consent form download link) .
Check-in time is after 4:00 PM, and check-out time is before 11:00 AM. A valid government-issued identity document or passport (with a photo of the person checking in) is required at check-in.
If you arrive at Mr. Pedder before the usual check-in time, please leave your luggage at the Mr. Pedder front desk until check-in begins. If you expect to arrive earlier, we also recommend that you book a room for the night before your arrival.
Late check-out is subject to availability and occupancy rates. Please inquire with Mr. Pedder at least 12 hours prior to check-out regarding the possibility of late check-out. Check-out between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM will incur a fee of NT$200 per hour, while check-out after 2:00 PM may incur the full day's room rate.
Guests do not need to pay a deposit upon check-in unless you have other related security requirements.

TMC may modify, alter or delete any part of these general terms and conditions, as well as the terms and conditions of any promotional offers, at any time without prior notice.
You must indemnify and hold harmless TMC from and against any and all liability, loss, damage, cost or expense of any kind arising out of or in connection with the acceptance of your booking.
To the extent permitted by law, TMC shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense or cost incurred by you as a result of TMC's cancellation of your reservation.
These General Terms and Conditions, as well as the provision of our services, shall be governed by and translated in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these General Terms and Conditions and our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of China.
Individuals who have not signed this agreement in accordance with these general terms and conditions have no right to enforce this agreement or any terms of these general terms and conditions under the Consumer Protection Act.

Mr. Petter Booking Cancellation Polic
General Terms ("General Terms and Conditions")
These General Terms and Conditions, along with any other applicable specific terms and conditions related to "Promotional Offers," together with any amendments that may be made from time to time, shall constitute a legally binding agreement between The Mantter Company (hereinafter referred to as "TMC") and you.
Cancellation Terms
If you have directly reserved a room with Mr.Petter and have completed the reservation process, but wish to cancel due to reasons not attributable to TMC or due to natural disasters, war, etc., TMC will charge a handling fee in accordance with the standardized individual customer reservation contract drafted by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, as well as the administrative costs incurred during the period.
Cancellation Fees for Advance Deposits:
1. If cancellation is made 14 days prior to the scheduled accommodation date, you may request TMC to refund 100% of the deposit paid.
2. For cancellations made 10 to 13 days prior to the accommodation date, you may request TMC to refund 70% of the deposit paid.
3. For cancellations made 7 to 9 days prior to the accommodation date, you may request TMC to refund 50% of the deposit paid.
4. For cancellations made 4 to 6 days prior to the accommodation date, you may request TMC to refund 40% of the deposit paid.
5. For cancellations made 2 to 3 days prior to the accommodation date, you may request TMC to refund 30% of the deposit paid.
6. For cancellations made 1 day prior to the accommodation date, you may request TMC to refund 20% of the deposit paid.
7. If you cancel on the scheduled day of accommodation or fail to notify, TMC is entitled not to refund any of the deposit paid
Cancellation Fees for Prepaid or Pre-authorized Credit Card Charges:
1. For cancellations made 3 days prior to the scheduled accommodation date, you may request TMC to refund 100% of the room charges paid.
2. For cancellations made 1 to 2 days prior to the accommodation date, you may request TMC to refund 50% of the room charges paid.
3. For cancellations made on the scheduled accommodation date, TMC is not obligated to refund any part or all of the room charges paid
In addition to the above-mentioned deposit or room charge refunds, TMC may charge an administrative fee of 10% of the total room booking amount incurred during the period.
If you have already obtained an official receipt issued by TMC, it must be returned to TMC for reissuing before refund procedures can be executed.
TMC will refund your deposit or room charges according to the listed proportions, minus the administrative fee, via bank transfer to your designated bank account, typically within seven working days.
Retention Policy
If you have directly reserved a room with Mr.Petter and have completed the reservation process but wish to retain your reservation rights without staying at the scheduled time, TMC will retain your reservation according to the following terms.
To retain your reservation, you must submit a request to TMC one day before the scheduled accommodation date; otherwise, it will be treated as a cancellation.
If you agree to retain your reservation rights, the prepaid reservation fees will be kept by TMC for six months. If you fail to exercise your reservation rights within six months, TMC will not extend or refund the amount, and cancellation terms will not apply.
If you agree to retain your reservation rights, you may rebook with TMC within six months, subject to the actual room availability at Mr.Petter.
If there is a price difference when exercising your reservation rights due to the specified time, room type, and room rate:
1. If the designated date, room type, and room rate exceed the deposit or room charges paid, you will need to pay the difference at check-in.
2. If the designated date, room type, and room rate are lower than the deposit or room charges paid, TMC will not issue any further refunds.
If the deposit retained by TMC is sufficient to cover multiple days' room charges or multiple rooms, please contact TMC directly to confirm the usage to avoid any loss.
The traditional Chinese version of these terms and conditions may be translated into other languages. In case of any discrepancy, the traditional Chinese version shall prevail.
