Taichung Green Museumbrary
A combined art museum and public library in Xitun District, designed by architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa and opened in December 2025.
About Taichung Green Museumbrary
The Taichung Green Museumbrary stands on the north side of Central Park in the Shuinan Economic and Trade Park, Xitun District, 4 km from Mr.Petter. It puts a municipal art museum and a public library in one building. The design is by internationally known architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa, and it opened in December 2025. Inside, open floors and natural light link the exhibition spaces with the reading areas, so you can look at art and browse books on the same visit. Tip: it is open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and closed on Mondays, so plan a morning or early afternoon trip. The drive takes about 9 minutes.
