The National Taichung Theater (National Taichung Theater) is located in the Xitun District of Taichung, and is one of Taiwan's three major national-level performing arts venues. Designed by Pritzker Architecture Prize winner Toyo Ito, it features 58 curved walls created under the concept of the "Sound Cave," achieving a miracle of pillar-less space. The venue includes professional performance spaces such as the Grand Theater, Playhouse (Medium Theater), and Black Box (Small Theater), and hosts international-level performances year-round, including opera, concerts, dance, and drama. Combining art, architecture, and technology, it is a must-visit cultural tourism attraction in Taichung and an important performing arts center in Asia.
